Seventh-Day Adventist Church Official TV Channel- Hope, is getting a better solid-satellite disk for better re-broadcast in Port Vila and Luganville. Since its launch in 2012 by the former Vanuatu Mission President Pr John Leeman, it has been under testing by technicians.Prime Minister Sato Kilman, as minister responsible for media, handed a broadcast license to Vanuatu Mission last year during the centennial celebration.
As a start, TV Transmitters are installed on Digicel towers in Port Vila and Luganville for viewers in the two main urban centers.
Today Luganville people are able to watch Hope TV after some work has been done this week by Erick Kaltap a former TVL Technician and a special TV technician Andrew Johnson, who works in Adventist Media Network in South Pacific Division (SPD) of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Australia.
Teddy Kingsley, Chief Finance Officer for Vanuatu SDA Mission said ” since last year 3 satellite disks were tested and now the Mission is getting a better solid disk, recommended by SPD technician to be installed soon. At the moment the Mission Communication Department will feed the channel with some local content while waiting for the new disk to arrive”.
Thank you to the generous heart who give money to buy a new Hope TV satellite disk.
